The data controller for this website is:

B-Software is currently being registered as B-Software Bruno Moreira e.U. with the Austrian Companies Register (Firmenbuch). Until this registration is complete, the controller is the sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) operated by Bruno Ricardo Moreira de Sousa Pontes, Vienna, Austria.

We collect personal data when you submit it through our forms, and some technical data is processed automatically when you visit the site.

• Contact form: name, email address and your message.
• Enquiry form: name, email address, enquiry type and an optional message.
• Project planner: contact details and your answers about the website you want (for example business type, pages, features, budget range).
• Discovery questionnaire: if we send you a private questionnaire link, your free-text and multiple-choice answers about your business and project.
• Free website audit: your email address, your website address and your consent. We confirm the request with a link we send to your address.
• Automatically: when you load a page, our server and our content delivery network (CDN) process your IP address and technical request data (such as browser and requested page) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from misuse.

Submissions to the contact form, the free website check, the Founding 5 application, the project planner and the discovery questionnaire are stored in a database in the EU (Hetzner, Germany), so that we can reply to you and follow up on your request.

Cookies. We do not set cookies on this website.

Analytics. We use Umami, installed on our own server (umami.b-software.eu), to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. It records the pages visited, the referring page, browser language, device category and a few conversion events (a contact message sent, a quote request, a free audit request). Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding which content is useful.

Fonts. The typefaces are served from our own server (through the CDN described below). Your browser does not contact a font provider.

Hosting and delivery. The site is delivered through the CDN of bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia, EU), which processes IP addresses while delivering pages. Our database runs at Hetzner in Germany. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and fast website.

If you request a free website audit, we process your email address and website address on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email, without affecting the processing before the withdrawal.

Form submissions are sent via Lettermint to the company inbox (hello@b-software.eu). We use your data solely to answer your enquiry, prepare a project, deliver the services you ask for and, for audit requests, as described in section 4. We do not sell your data.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a project and for contracts (steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of a contract); Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general business enquiries (our legitimate interest in answering them); Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where we ask for your consent.

We keep enquiries and the related emails for 12 months after the last contact, unless a contract is concluded. Project planner and questionnaire answers are kept for the duration of the project and the resulting contract; if no contract follows, we delete them after 12 months or earlier on request. Audit requests are kept until you withdraw consent, or until 12 months after the last contact without a reply.

If we conclude a contract with you, accounting records are kept for the period required by law (in Austria generally seven years). Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the site. Our analytics does not store personal data.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

Your data goes to the following service providers, which act on our behalf or provide technical parts of the site:

• Lettermint (Lettermint B.V., Netherlands, EU): transactional email delivery.
• Hetzner (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany): database and server infrastructure.
• bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia, EU): content delivery network.
• Mollie (Mollie B.V., Netherlands, EU): payment processing for invoices and SEPA direct debits of clients.

Umami runs on our own server, so no third party receives analytics data. We do not pass your data on in any other way, except where the law requires it.
